For Adela, studying physiotherapy through UniSA means juggling time between Adelaide and Murray Bridge – but having the right support makes all the difference.
She’s on campus in the city two days a week for practicals, tutorials, and workshops, but the rest of her learning happens online. “All my lectures are pre-recorded, so I can study from anywhere,” she says. “It makes things a lot more flexible.”
Adela first heard about the Murray River Study Hub from a regular at the local gym where she works, someone who knew Jane and suggested it might be a great fit. They were right.
“The quiet spaces, especially the training rooms, help me stay focused,” Adela explains.
“It’s so much easier to concentrate here than at home, and it helps me keep a clear boundary between study and rest.”
That separation has made a big impact. Adela often works during the day at Inner Soul Physical Rehabilitation, so being able to access the hub after-hours and on weekends gives her the flexibility she needs to keep up with everything.
“It’s a calm, structured environment,” she says. “When I’m at the Hub, I’m in study mode. And that’s really helped improve my productivity.”
With a strong routine and the right study space, Adela is building the future she’s been working towards.
